Enologist (Winemaker) Gary Gougér opened Gouger Cellars in 2009 after graduation from U of Adelaide, Australia. Gary started making wine with a close friend in 2002 while still working as a Pharmacist and Optometrist. Their wine was awarded an International Gold Medal and the rest is history
